How to Choose the Right Obagi Facial Moisturiser
Start with your skin type. If your skin feels tight by midday, choose a richer facial cream. If it turns shiny or your pores look congested, a gel texture is ideal. For firmness, fine lines and wrinkles, look at Elastiderm. Not sure? We will recommend one at your skin analysis.
Apply moisturiser after your vitamin C serum, morning and night, to lock in moisture and smooth the skin surface. In the morning, finish with SPF50 to protect against premature ageing.

Hydrate Luxe is the richest option and works well overnight. Obagi Hydrate suits daily use on normal to dry skin.
What does Obagi Hydrate Facial Moisturiser do?
A daily facial moisturiser with shea butter, mango butter and tara seed extract. It restores moisture, eases dryness and improves skin texture, and it is suitable for most skin types.
Is Obagi Rebalance a moisturiser?
Yes. Rebalance Skin Barrier Recovery Cream is a moisturiser for a stressed or sensitive skin barrier, for example after treatment or if other products cause irritation.
Can I use a moisturiser with retinol?
Yes. Applying moisturiser after retinol helps reduce dryness and flaking, especially in the first few weeks.
Do I still need SPF with these moisturisers?
Yes. None of these moisturisers replace sunscreen, so apply SPF50 as the last step every morning.
